Kane County Animal Control Animal Rescue Program

Dear Rescue Partners,

Thank you for your interest in wanting to rescue animals from Kane County Animal Control (KCAC). KCAC works hard to ensure all adoptable animals have the best chances possible to find their forever homes. The purpose of our program is to find organizations that can commit resources to help these animals get adopted.

All rescues that pull from KCAC MUST be licensed by their respective state in which they operate. All groups that operate in states without licensing must contact our facility to discuss what is needed to pull an animal from our facility. Any questions or concerns about pulling an animal can be sent to animalrescue@countyofkane.org.

All animals seen in this section are for rescue only. No adoption inquires will be accepted. If you are interested in adopting any of the animals seen here please work with your local rescue group to have the animal pulled through them. KCAC encourages all groups to do their own behavioral and medical evaluation prior to transferring an animal into your group.
